Hi Folks My uncle is coming over to me from the UK and wants to know if he uses his credit card to withdraw money over here will the banks charge him for the transaction His visa account is in credit. Have you any links on this? With thanks

If he withdraws say €200, he will get €200 and hte only charges should be from his bank. ATM withdrawals have tended to be much more expensive in the UK at €1-2 a pop compared to 0-30c here.

He needs to contact A&L to find out their charges - as they'll be the one charging him.
