Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi all,

I'm on the jobseeker benefit since I redundant 9 months ago.

I can have a few nixers to work on from home. I know, I'm entitled to work 2-3 days a week and still get benefit.

My question is: Can I give an invoices to my clients ? I've been PYAE but I'm registered as a sole trader as well.

    Many thanks for any advice.

You can work up to 3 days per week but you're not supposed to be getting the full JB rate - they're supposed to deduct the daily rate for each day you are working and therefore unavailable for work.

You have to declare all days you are working to the department of social welfare.

I know you need to register your working days. I wonder how it works with self employment/sole trading ?

Does it make any difference if you're not employed by anybody but yourself ?
