By the sounds of it your on about sportspack arches. There is a whole range of arches available, group 2, works, group 5, sportspack etc. The arches generally are fixed to the wings with pot rivets, with a rubber seal between the arch and the panel of the car. If your fitting sportspack arches to a car you'll have to get 13 inch wheels of else the car will just look silly with 10 or 12 inch wheels with sportspack arches.

www.minispares.com supply nearly all kinds if arches available.

Look up the irish minis owners club www.irishminis.ie for good advice. There are a good few mini specialists around the country who will also be able to give you good advice also.

As someone who has been around minis for a while, the best advice that i can give is to make sure that you get one that is rust free as possible as they can be serious rust traps.

Thats a real help because until this i was ruling out alot of beautiful minis on the basis of that. Good to know now i can add them on later, as well as things like leather seats which seem to be readily available! Hoping to make my first car a good one!

had sold mine to a guy and he managed to stuff up the engine in it the day he bought it , so am looking for an engine to throw into it
i was offered 1 a couple weeks ago, complete corsair in a shed but needs too much work, interior immaculate ,doors very good ,engine was running well when parked up for restoring, its in enniscorthy, would imagine around €100 would buy it.

Hi... looking for rear break calipers for a 75 mercedes 280se... W116, if anyone knows where I could get hold of them handy...
rob parker in the UK, or on ebay try Chris at 3pointed parts. I got a few bits for my 116 from him. I think all the rear calipers are the same across the 116 range.
