Nice collection......I think I'll try to search out an Irish Fuego...Between Transport,VRT etc etc it would seem like the most economic solution, provided I can find one of course

I have a 1969 Morris Traveler for sale.
    condition,very good
    timber ,excellent
    engine ,very good 1.3
    automatic gearbox ,smooth.
An automatic you say ,never heard of one ? Well The story goes as follows.
This car was commissioned by an ex flight lietenent, who it seems lost a leg during WW2.
anyway he loved the style of the Morris traveler, but obviously couldn't drive one too well with one leg,so he went to the dealer who was keen to sell a new Traveler,so he suggested an automatic would be an option.
well thats the story as i was told.the car was built and the buyer had what he wanted [ happy days ]
i have had this car with a Vintage recognised engineer,he states that this is not a conversion, but was done from new, apparently there would be X amount of tell tale signs that would stand out if it had been a later conversion.
the car drives very well, obviously its not entirely immaculate, but it is very presentable, and worthy of showing.

    price is negotiable at €3750

If you like old fords u will definately like this 1947 original irish reg prefect.
it was restored a few years ago to a very high standard ,and needless to say at great exspence.
reason for selling have too many classics and not enough storage space, would prefer if this car goes to an enthusiast, who will give it the care it needs.
the price at €5500 is a fraction of what this car cost to restore.
it is negotiable but will not entertain any silly offers or swops,as all ready stated ,selling due to lack of space.
you are more than welcome to view in person, just PM me to arrange a viewing.

Irish Fuegos are about as rare as hen's teeth at this stage i'd say :D

If you ever need parts or anything (this goes for any type of french car), i think www.leboncoin.fr is a great source, bit like our donedeal.
If you ever want to ring up about an ad and if you need help, let me know... Unfortunately i speak fluent french :D

    Anyone interested in a '76 Dolomite 1850HL?

The car is in good nick with some rust coming through on one rear door bottom, otherwise it's very solid. It's russet brown with a full length webasto style sun roof (no leaks). Also has Sprint alloys. It has overdrive but it's working intermittently at the moment. Should be a simple fix but I don't really use it anyway. Otherwise running well.

Drop me a pm for my number if you're interested. Hoping to get around €1500 for it but negotiable. Hoping for a quick sale as I have my eye on something else (but don't tell the missus!).

not exactly a classic but it does say classic on the back and this is the only forum i really post in.

have this volvo here, its a really nice car and i was hoping to drive it for the winter but im doing massive mileage these days and really could do with a nicer diesel than the mk2 golf im running at the moment.

    97 940 2.3 high pressure turbo
its a massively comfortable old barge with heated half leather, full electrics and a huge boot. its pretty much nct able as far as i can see with great tyres all round, volvo alloys, towbar and some service history indicating a timing belt change along with a good few bushes and seals in the past few years.
it would be a great car to nct and drive but would also be an epic drift barge as it has the b230ft redblock engine, from what ive read these are a really good engine, standard they are 165 hp but they use a mitsubishi turbo so an evo turbo can be fitted easily bringing her up to around 220hp

id be very interested in a swap for a big diesel barge with a towbar, something along the lines of a e34 bmw 525tds or similar but id consider any big diesel or something with toyota with test that i can sell on again.
any interest give me a pm or call 085 7065100

    Hi,

I have a 1972 Mercedes 350SL engine that I am looking to get rid of. The engine will do for parts, but is not suitable to be fitted into a car due to the botch job that was done in taking it out.
    PM me if interested

    Regards
    Dave

You have to tell that story!?

You have to tell that story!?

I didn't take it out. I bought the engine from the uk in the belief that it was fully functional.

Hi all, still looking for a good home for my 1990 BMW 735 (e32). The body is in great shape, clean with no rust or damage as is the engine and box. It has a good clean full leather interior and just needs a little tlc to bring it back to its former glory as it has been sitting up for some time. Theres around 117,000 miles on the clock. So make me an offer, nothing half reasonable refused as I have to move it sooner rather than later.

    Many thanks.

the top bit when you undo the 6 set screws in the top of the carb, which then lifts off when you release the linkage on the left side....the problem I have is with the brass tube where the petrol goes in(has worn too small and is leaking...tried tapping it in and sticking it without sucess.
