Anyone know of any oil distributors here that do 20W/50 oil in bulk (25l drums) plus suppliers of ZDPP or break in oil? Rebuilding the V8 in my 101 (tranny uses the same oil too so that's 15 litres all in) plus my bro in law has two classics so we need a fair bit.

I'll be in the uk in a couple of months where I know I can get it but would prefer to get some sooner. Local auto factor has it in 5l cans but can't get it in bulk which should be much cheaper.

Did a search but mostly found heated discussions about Halfords classic oil!

If you're in Cork anytime Pat Crowley Oils ( formally Pat Hourican,s) just off the Ballincollig bypass can supply larger quantities of oil at good prices.

Anyone know of a Mitsubishi Lancer for sale 1988 - 1992 model.
They looked like a mini-Galant of the same era.

Good cash paid for a clean one - preferably the 1.5l GLX or EXE model with the toys.
    PM me.

    Hi,

I have a classic car which needs a little (I hope!) work done, basically it isn't starting but was a few months ago.

Can anyone recommend a mechanic to drop out and have a look?

    Dalkey area.

Just an update on the car(s) in my sig:, these:

    450594186_6naxb-S.jpg

I would prefer to sell/trade the manual one, but am interested in a swap or p/ex for......
....motorbike - anything considered, but nothing mad. BMW F650/F800 of some kind, SV Suzuki, maybe, or Harley Sportster - try me and see.

Alternatively, if I can find an SL Merc - but must have rear seats, pref circa '82. Maybe a good 280CE....maybe.........

You don't want to acknowledge that as truth because, deep down in places you don't talk about at the Green Party, you want me on that road, you need me on that road. We use words like freedom, enjoyment, sport and community. We use these words as the backbone of a life spent instilling those values in our families and loved ones. You use them as a punch line. I have neither the time nor the inclination to explain myself to a man who rises and sleeps under the tax revenue and the very freedom to spend it that I provide, and then questions the manner in which I provide it. I would rather you just said "thank you" and went on your way. Otherwise I suggest you pick up a bus pass and get the ********* ********* off the road”

Sorry but you can forget about a Mk1 /2 escort for that money you might get two wings and a bonnet but not much else. A scarlet box should be more realistic I would think.
