Anyone looking for a really very clean w126. I was planning on putting it on Donedeal soon but really not sure if its the best place for it. It really is straight, with the best bodywork I've seen on an early w126... much better than any others I've seen for sale, and in fairness its pretty much unmarked and rust free. So if you know anyone that is looking for one give me a shout!

a few pictures and a price would help

  • Registered Users Posts: 822 ✭✭✭johnty56

They probably would but just decided to put this up now. Its not ready for sale yet but I just thought I'd offer it here first.. the way things are now it'll probably only get the same money on donedeal as a **** one so I thought I may as well see if anyone who really is looking for a good one wanted it first.. I'll only get the same kind of money either way!

    Hi all,

Looking for a 1967 mini minor, in ok condition i.e. dont mind doing a respray, but dont want to have to by every little part for it. I do however want to restore it myself.

Its my parents 40th wedding anniversary next year around this time. They were talking about their first car, it was a 1967 mini minor. You will have to excuse my ignorance as i know next to nothing about classic cars (apart from the cheap tax!)

Are there many of these around or cad é an scéal

Unfortunately having to sell my VW T25 Pop Top Camper project, its a 1980 air cooled and the engine is running perfect, its been stripped and 95 % of welding is done, new steps, rear arch, front valence, os sill . Van will not take much to finish and put back on the road. NOTE... this van is totally stripped but all parts are bagged and tagged and dry stored. Will need to be trailer ed away. Easy finish project for dub enthusiast. Has to go due to house purchase. First 1000 euro gets it but i'll not go a penny lower as can break for parts for more ( would be such a shame though). Will put up pics after weekend.

    Thanks for looking.

Oh its a 1.6 air cooled

    Hi,

Cash waiting for a decent set of Volvo Virgo alloys - I don't mind if they need a refurb, so long as they are not buckled or cracked.

I'm looking for an electromagnetic/powder clutch, they were used in some 90s Japanese cars with CVT auto boxes such as Nissan Micra and Subaru Vivio and Justy. I have tried all the breakers I know and partfinder etc but no luck, thought I'd try here on the off chance someone might have one lying around.

Try Ned Kelly, he often has a few w107s breaking http://www.nedkellycars.com/parts/.

The slc is a 1975 with 80K on the clock and is believed to be genuine, if your budget is low this may not be the car for you. The floors alone cost nearly 2k to do, I would be looking for 3,250 for the car as is also the back heated window is relatively new, these cost 1200 euro alone.

Posted some time ago with this request, so just refreshing it again. I'm looking for two centre caps for a Jaguar 20 spoke alloy, as fitted to the xj6 from 95-97. These caps are about the same size and shape as a large saucer, with a hole in the centre for the Jaguar badge. Condition not too important as they will be repainted anyway. A long shot but you never know?

Thanks for the link, which, coincidentally, I came across this evening myself. The ad doesn't show any picture, but does give the part number, which I will check against one of the caps I already have.

    Thanks again.

Its the correct number OK.. This is for hub cap-CCC5281 the silver plastic saucer size hub cap but does not include the centre cap. Mightn't be much difference in price to purchase in a dealer here by the time you add postage and currency exchange.

I hear what you're saying, but unfortunately, experience has shown me that in 99% of cases, even taking postage and exchange rates into account, it's cheaper to shop "across the pond". Especially when you are dealing with main dealers. eg; I got a brnd name tow bar, complete with wiring, socket, etc. for just marginally more than half what the cheapest available here in Ireland was, including postage, and a tow bar aint light! Delivered right to my door!

Thanks reply. Way way beyond my budget indeed. But I would be a very complimentary tyre kicker as a viewer. Love these old cars. Will try Ned Kelly like hi5 suggests. There must be one of these in old brute 450 form in a shed somewhere.
