Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Windows XP pro - reg hack for keyboard layout?

There's a computer at work that always goes to US keyboard layout whenever restricted-access users login to it.
I cannot give the users local admin rights so that is out.
I can login as a local admin and remove US Keyboard as one of the installed languages, but for some reason the users still get US keyboard.

So, does anybody know if i can terminate this problem in the registry?

In control panel Regional settings go to advanced and set the locale there.
That is the default picked up for new profiles.

If a user has loggen on already then you will need to reset the language and kb layout as the profile has already been created.

And even if you have selected Irish everywhere else it defaults to US!
