Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How or where to repair a fake fur rim on the hood of my jacket?

It is a heavy, quilted Tommy Hilfiger jacket, it has a removable hood(which i had to stitch on after one or two of the buttons broke off and a removable rim of fur on the hood.

I've looked online for solutions on cleaning and they didn't work. By now it is basically a nest of deeply matted hair and when i soak it or put conditioner and water on it it does not penetrate through it because it is so thick with tangled and matted fur and the liquid only soaks a bit through the surface. Combing or brushing it seems to break it further.

It looked very good when the fur was good. Is there any way to fix it?
