Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Hi LoveHiFi

we are the sister store to Richer Sounds in Belfast and as the name suggets we specialise in pretty much all things Philips.
The RS guys are happy to send (most) goods anywhere in Ireland for a small charge but think the shop is well worth a visit if your ever up in Belfast, it's an aladdins cave of AV!

John mc and Dave are the guys to chat to here for info.
Give Dave a buzz in the shop and he will sort you out in a nice way.....(he can even be nice to your credit card!!!!)

    Lovehifi,

What a great name and welcome to boards!

Ok to answer your queries - the link between The Philips Shop & Richer Sounds goes back ages and we share some common Directors - but in essence the guys in The Philips Shop house our Dublin Service centre and are also happy to act as a collection centre for RS Customers who need to collect bits if they cannot have them delivered to home. Most of the guys in The Philips Shop - especially Fergal, Ash & Nicola are also sad hi-fi nutters so they are a great source of info.

On the greater delivery query - we generally try to keep delivery charges to a miminum however our normal delivery charge for hi-fi (speakers/amps etc) is £11.95 for next day courier and £5.99 for smaller bits - ie IPod Docks etc - however we normally try to offer Boardies free delivery on all Hi-fi purchases - this is not always possible (to be honest if we have an offer that we lose money on - we may not be able to offer free delivery as well :o ) but we do try to stretch the rules for boardies as often as possible!

On the Onkyo DS-A2x dock - this unit is now a finished line - we do have the DSA1x at £39.95 or the DSA3 at £89.95 or the super-duper new UPa1 dock at £79.95

Thanks again for the post and give us a shout if we can assist in any way,

    ATB,

    John Mc

Thanks for info , will probably be in touch with Belfast office once I have a chance to check out the models mentioned , may as well stay with Onkyo to link with existing Onkyo Reciever to save on remote controls
