Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

I am installing W7 on laptop: xps m1530; nvidia 8600m gpu; t8600 cpu. It seems to be stuck on completing installation. Googling shows a lot of people have had the same issue but in different contexts. Has anyone encountered this issue on a similar computer, and if so how did you resolve it?
    Thanks

edit: finally completed without issue; just took a lot longer than expected

Installed x64 version on same machine. Same *problem*. It's poor design on MSFT's part.... I thought it had failed myself, but the disk was still active so I left it for a half hour and eventually it finished.

Looks like it's hung but it really hasn't, and it doesn't give any indication it hasn't other than HDD activity. God Bless that little blinkenlight. People never think to peek at it.
