Good Venues in Dublin for acoustic gigs?

hey all, Just back from a year travelling and I am looking to start gigging around the city. I know some of the old haunts and open mics but I am looking for a really nice venue for an acoustic show. I am in the middle of booking upstairs in Whelans but just wondering is there any hidden treasures I am missing. Any ideas?…

Just back from a year travelling and I am looking to start gigging around the city.
I know some of the old haunts and open mics but I am looking for a really nice venue for an acoustic show.
I am in the middle of booking upstairs in Whelans but just wondering is there any hidden treasures I am missing.
Any ideas?

Check the singer-songwriter forum there is a link there with various open mics etc. The sunday night Apollo Sessions in The Bleeding Horse is excellent.

(when are you playing Whelans ? ..... do you need a support act?)
