Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    Dave,

Thanks for that - we finally got things sorted for you - apologies for the delay - does your Dad like the new TV??

Anyway - are you looking for a full 5.1 setup??

If so I would recommend either the Q Acoustics 1010i system - however I understand that the new version of it is due out shortly and I'm just awaiting pricing.

Alternatively the I can do 2 Monitor Audio systems - the 1st is the new Vector 5.1 system which I can now do on a special at just £299.95 (retail is over £500!!!) including the VW8 Subwoofer - (I can do this in White/Black or walnut finishes)
or we can also do on a very limited offer the Monitor Audio Bronze Reference 1 * 2 pairs, with the Monitor Audio Bronze Reference LCR Centre * 1 and the Monitor Audio W8 subwoofer at just £429.95 (the retail value on this system is actually over £650!) Frankly the BR1 system is in a different league to the QA system for the extra few quid!

Anyway again thanks for the kind comments re getting your TV sorted, thank your Dad for his patience and and as ever please just drop me a line if we can assist in any way,

    ATB,

    John,

things with the TV are very good. realy is a nice set. the £299 would be more along my price range i think the q acoustics where right at the top of it.is there any reviews out there of the new qacoustic models and as where replacing the boss speakers were kinda in a hard spot as we have some nice cable wired through the walls, so im kinda looking for something i could wall mout saving the cable.

oh and yes full 5.1 setup

Yeah that 7404/8404 range of TV are the business!

Ok at a squeeze I could do the Vector system at £299 - and of course they would be more suitable for wall mounting (however the brackets are £16.95 extra a pair) and they would look way better on a wall than either the 1010 or the BR1's.

Re. the new QA range - I have not even seen them myself yet - but as soon as I get firm info I'll keep you posted,

ok all looks good. so the £299 system is 4 v10 speakers the v20 center and the vw8 sub, just to make sure. im not to sure but i think i may be able to use the wall mounts from my boss system cause the price of the brackets is mad.

would i be able to save on delivery if i collected them from belfast.

I agree that the bracket price is a tad expensive!

But the Vector 5.1 pack is a real bargain - if you have a look you will see the individual vectors selling at over £500 for the system - so at £299 for the system they are a great deal and blow most of the Tannoy & Kef's around the same price out of the water!

Re Delivery - the price quoted includes free delivery for Boardies which I can offer on this product!

The Vector is available in white/Black and Walnut (it's walnut fronted) and we are tight on stock but we will have all finishes available later this week,

Thanks again and keep me posted,
