reasonably priced binoculars needed

    i need a pair of reasonably priced binoculars pref with night vision for a friend who wears glasses. ideas appreciated. i think i just missed the ones from lidl around 24 august. are they good? thanks

    Got these at lidl at 8.99. Ok but rubber cups keep turning back up

    also he says it is hard to hold them still. is than an issue with all binoculars?

    Those are opera glasses, not suited to astronomy

    spend double that on 8x50 or 10x50 on bresser or meade from Lidl / Aldi

    do not get zoom ones

    put the strap around your neck to keep them steadier as you lean against them

    also the bigger binoculars have a place to connect a screw thread for tripod or other stands

    after that you are spending a lot more to get something better

    what is the largest magnification available? Not for astronomy but everyday use? The ones above magnify x 10. i have seen up to x 25?
