Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

How much does RAM cost?

I have a laptop since Oct. 06 with 448MB RAM and 55GB harddrive memory. It's going too slow and also filling up quickly. Its got a Celeron CPU. Is RAM easy to get hold of and how much can I expect to pay for say, 256 or 512MB here in Cork? (I'm considereing buying an external harddrive for €100 (1TB). Also, apart from buying a new PC/laptop, is there any other way of obtaining Vista, as I've never used it.

The problem for that computer is that you have to buy an old RAM type (DDR), probably, and it'll be very expensive I think.

If you buy Vista, It won't work on that old laptop.

2020.ie is a good start to see what option you have and check the type of ram your system uses.

RAM is free to download :pac:

In all seriousness though, check out memoryc. They are based in Kildare.
