ftr, I've not gone via the software centre myself so cant comment on the procedure for doing so. When I was doing CS there was a lecturer in charge of this stuff and we went to him for the serial key for vista.

myself and a few others for vista at the time from CSIS.

mike coughlan was the contact at the time for csis - you signed a sheet and he emailed you a serial key then. (i assume in this context naming is ok?)

I guess wait until college starts and check then but this was a heads up that CS students can get win7.

I wasnt aware that other courses could as well.

Yeah, friend in TCD got his Win7 key over the past few weeks, so we hopefully shouldn't have any trouble getting it.
