Internet in River Apartments

    So the internet in river apartments is wired, is it like a usb cable that plugs into your laptop or something else? also do i need anything on my laptop to make sure the internet works on it in river?

    I was in there two years ago and it was wired internet. You just need the cable. However it wasn't the most reliable.

    Ethernet Cable is needed but they do rent them out for €5 down in the Residence Office.

    I lived in Carrick Hall and I was able to pick up the WiFi from the Village apartments but almost everyone in who lives in River cannot.

    Your login for the internet is your student number and password but you dont get this till your register.

    Remember this info is 3 years old so things might have changed since I lived there.

    Actually come to think of it, it was a €5 deposit and you got it back at the end of year once you handed back the cable.

    aww well thanks for any ifo at all you can give me on it....i think i have an ethernet cable at home somewhere so might bring it just in case

    couldn by chance tell me what the twin rooms in river are like?
