    I thought for a long while that this would open ahead of schedule but between the flooding and watching drone footage would the local viewers (m17 & co) think that it will still take another 2 years?

    You'd forget at times that it's a 57km scheme and there's also the complications of the Rathmorrissey interchange involved too.

    I have to say, I'm still utterly baffled as to the objections. The alternative is a stop go system for 3 months, what numpty in their right mind would want that

    There will be 5 overpasses, 3 over the M6 and 2 over the roundabout.
