    Thanks M17!

I saw the article you posted to the Connacht Tribune about the Tuam Bypass opening in August, where did you hear that the motorway was opening in late October - I thought it was November?

Also, where do you get your info on when the flyovers are due to open?

    Thanks!

November opening was mentioned here last july, they have made rapid progress since then. About the flyover opening I emailed the guys at directroute who have been very helpful, it's no point on going on a wild goose chase, nice to see you're enjoying the pics

Does anyone have a decent High res version of the route map?
The map on the direct route website is, shall we say.... a fuzzy scrawl that looks like someone did it with a crayon taped to the end of a pole vaulting pole...
would like to see more clear detail on the map if possible..

    Thanks

Should be (M6-M18) N17 at the bottom rather than the blue patches.

Seems as though the old N17 will indeed become the N83. A national road for no other reason other than that it used to be a national road. Even Tuam - Claregalway traffic should use the M17 to J2 and then what will be the R381 to access Claregalway. Ridiculous stuff with the state now having to fund a national road of zero national importance.
