Lets take the banter to the Clubhouse and let this thread revert to the topic of favourite drinkies.
What IS the best tipple for a winters day? Has anyone ever tried a hot gin?

When out: Galway Hooker if I'm in the couple of places in Dublin that serve it.

At home: Ale, Ale, Ale. Spitfire, London Pride, Bishops Finger etc. I wish more pubs served proper ale :(

When at a house or having a quiet pint: Miller and pints of Heineken respectivly.

Whe out on the tear, I start of on pints, but quickly move onto Vodka Blackcurrant, then I get a Sudddddy and a WKD, mix them to make the HULK!!! Lovely, green and gets ya geebagged!!!

Guinness when I'm in my local.

A nice Chilean Merlot at home.

I've just created the most beautiful coctail, Whiskey and Lilt:D."A Chilled Out Paddy" is what I'm calling it.

I don't like all that Vodka lark, it just tastes like nothing, just gets you drunk. But then again, thats the point.

    Typical late night out:

Couple of Pints of Guinness in the pub followed by 3-4 Pints of Smithwicks.

    On to club:
Possible (but not always) a bottle or two of Corona.

A couple of Jagerbombers (maybe just jager and redbull with ice, depending on the mood).

few shots of tequilla or other shots that catch my eye.

Southern comforts (sometimes Torpedos - double southern and westcoast cooler mixed - but don;t drink these too often anymore).

Jameson and red and jamaican rum and black to finish it off.

Thankfully, I do not suffer hangovers. Unfortunately, binge drinking is supposed to have long-term health effects :o

    ---
    at home:

    Corona, miller or erdinger.
    vodka and black
    southern comfort

    heineken at home

night out 6-8 pints of heineken then onto southie or captain with mixer - occasional jameson on the rocks/brandy

if the night progresses messily - jagerbombs, wicked bombs (substitute red bull for blue wkd), green diesels (blue aftershock & red bull), mickey finns (if not really committed to the cause!)

    Bramah at home (cheap)
    Heineken when out
Rum (captain morgan) and lemon/vodka and anything at a club or late bar
The guiness then as a cure :pac:
