Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Pricing of a lastolite cubelite?

    Hey folks,
    I got a gift a while back of a Lastolite Cubelite. I have never used it so I thought I'd try sell it on. I don't know what these things are worth...I've seen prices on ebay that seem contradictory at times. So I was hoping to get a bit of advice here on what price I should set for it.

    It has the white cube part itself, which is 4ftx4ftx4ft. There's one of those silver reflector things too. There's a 500w light+bulb, with a tripod. There's also a large white roll of thick card that is probably for using as a surface.

    It's almost in perfect condition, save for a few light scuff marks on the cube. And there's the case and bag that it all packs away in to.

    Any advice would be great.

    P.S I got permission from AnCatDubh to make this post as I didn't want to conflict with the charter. I am NOT trying to sell this on the forum, I intend to use adverts.ie or other channels. cheers

    Is the Kit you have this one?

    If so then it's sold for £270 new. For Used in Mint condition I would be aiming for about 2/3 of the new price, so that would be about £180 or €200.

    If it's another model then maybe a link would assist, it may even answer your question.

    That's it yeah. I have seen ones on ebay selling at more than that though, but maybe that's because you can't get it in the US or something like that.

    edit: Just realised that there's the regular cubelite and then cubelite table. That's the reason for the more expensive listings and my confusion :P
