Cost of living Auckland?

I'm looking at doing an internship in Auckland when I finish my degree, possibly early 2011, just wondering what the average cost of rent for a one bedroom flat in Auckland? Is it more/less expensive than say Wellington or Christchurch? Also how much would an average weekly shop cost? Cheers
