i d like to buy an army ww2 watch ,i got some money for my birthday,wanted one for a while, besides ebay,were would be the best place to buy, i d like one that works that i could use now and then

i ve seen a good few on ebay for between 100 and 200 dollars , wondering if for that price would you only get something that needs repair or is in bad condition?
and if you buy one of these watches is it ok to wear them once a week? or should they only be for displaying?

Good questions. I'd guess anything you'd buy on ebay should be in working order, just check the listing discription carefully, and ask the seller.

I wouldn't wear it every day tbh, just to minimize the risk of damage or loss.

If you find yourself in Germany for a weekend or longer, there are often good flea markets in some of the towns where you might be able to pick up something nice. i've seen a few WW2 gems in antique shops there too, pocket watches and such like.
