There's a farmers market on Friday in the Market area of the town and on Saturday there's a bit of a market there as well, with a few veg, lots of plants, really big boxes of washing powder, olives, cheese etc. I doubt that there is meat on sale either day - but I don't know.

the last time i was at the friday market, there was a couple selling meat from their pig farm in Offaly. Ribs, sausages, bacon, loin of pork etc. Had only garlic sauages left when i got there but they were delish!!

Dont know if they are there every week.
