Dun Laoghaire, Co. Dublin – September 1, 2009 – Preamp DJ Academy, Dublin’s newest educational training facility, today announced the launch of the next generation of educational training courses. Preamp DJ Academy aims to be the leading specialists in offering small groups and one to one training courses. Our approach, unlike many other training providers is very hands on, focusing on creation led projects and practical training, not just theory driven classes, as this is by far the most productive way of learning.

Preamp DJ Academy offers both one to one and group classes in DJ skills and Music production. In our one to one courses students will have the total attention of the tutor which enables them to progress at a greater pace and allows them to choose their own timetable and to a certain degree their own course content. In our small group courses we restrict student numbers to 3 or 4 which will afford students more time with the tutors, equipment, isolation boothes and digital workstations.

Our DJ and Music Production courses are especially designed for transition year students and teenagers looking to create a digital portfolio, which will put them ahead of the pack, and will also help gain entrance to other digital media education in future years.

To celebrate its launch Preamp DJ Academy is offering its services for a special introductory offer, in addition there is educational pricing for schools, students, unemployed and youth services.

Our courses are suitable for beginners and experienced users alike whether they want to work in a recording studio or just produce and record in their bedroom. Preamp DJ Academy conducts an electronic music education business that aims to fulfill all the needs of electronic music fans, DJs and artists. We only use professional industry standard software and equipment, such as Ableton Live, Reason, Technics, Korg and M-Audio.

With the rise of DIY music, personal computers and digital technology, Preamp DJ Academy is in a unique position; we have put all three together to develop Positive Education™, an exciting new educational experience for the 21st Century and beyond.

The internet has made it possible for artists to communicate with their fans directly, Lily Allen’s MySpace video netted her no.1 in the U.K singles chart, and the Arctic Monkeys netted themselves a Mercury award, three Brit awards amongst other, all by marketing their own creations on the internet.
