    Here are a selection of photographs taken in Normandy, France if anyone is interested (I was going to put this in the militaria forum as they include many items of militaria but here is possibly more suitable).

    Included are pictures from the town of Avranches & it's Patton and Liberation Memorial along with it's famous Thunderbolt Sherman tank.

    Jesus I'm doing something wrong. I've been taking photographs of Normandy for donkeys years and haven't anything this good. Well done Morlar, particularly the Utah Photographs.

    Those are excellent - cheers. Especially the St Mere Eglise ones. It would be good if the others had locations mentioned but they are well worth checking out.
