Parcel delays to England

Has anyone had any major delays recently with anpost parcels sent to uk? I received an item from UK just 2 days after ordering it. Brilliant service says I. The item was too small so I went through they're returns process and posted it back the same day... 28th-Aug-09.

Checked with the UK company today (8th-Sept) and they've received nothing yet.

Whats goin on...why is this taking so long to arrive?

Should I get onto anpost customer service...? I have a postage receipt.

AFAIK there is some sort of postal strike in the UK. I was warned about it when I ordered something from over there 2 weeks ago.

Perhaps that is causing the delay?
