UKs figure of 7 million illegal file sharers came from a survey of 1176 householders

The British Government came up with a recent statistic that there was 7 million Britain's were engaging in illegal file sharing.

When the matter was questioned it was discovered that this figure came from a survey they made from 1176 on line households.

Out of this 11.6% or 136 people admitted to using illegal file sharing sites. This is how they came up with the figure of 7 million :rolleyes:
