Christening - 2 Godfathers??

    Hi,

    Is anyone able to tell me if my baby is allowed to have 2 godfathers and 1 god mother for their christening, only my partner has 2 best friends and both of them would be ideal and we really cant choose between them and we dont want to leave one out, do you know if this is ok??

    Don't know what the 'official' line would be on this, maybe check with your Parish Priest, or the parish office, they would know. Each Priest may feel differently about this also so best to get it from the horses mouth :)

    You can, my god daughter has me and another godfather and the priest had no problem with it!

    My Son has two godmothers. Again, the priest had no problem with it.

    My 4th child had 3 godfathers and 1 godmother as we knew he was to be our last and we wanted to involve all our closest friends with our kids.
    This was in a tiny little west of Ireland village and there was no problem with it at all:)
