    Hey all, does anybody know where exactly this estate is? And does anybody live there or know much about the place? My parents might be looking at buying in the area!

    It's just off the Edmondstown Road (by the An Post sorting office). Nice estate in a quiet area.

    good area - only thing rathfarnham hasnt got is a goosd public transport - luas ect - bus service is improving though

    How in the name of god is this area in rathfarnham :confused:

    It's half was up the mountain, between edmondstown and ballyboden :D

    There's plenty of buses in the rathfarnham area, 16, 16a, 75, 15a, 14, 14a all depending on which end of the place you are in but for springvale I'd say the number of buses are zero, maybe the 74 goes out there or close or is that one to knocklyne?

    Springvale is nice and quiet.

    It's well served by buses:
    74A, less than 5 minute walk if you cut up through Prospect.
    15B, 5-7minute walk

    It most certainly isn't Rathfarnham though, and use that fact if bargaining.
