The Little Stranger by Sarah Waters

Of the shortlist, I've only read The Little Stranger. My plan to read the longlist didn't work out - I only got through Me, Cheeta and halfway through The Wilderness, though I'd already read Colm Toibin's Brooklyn and The Little Stranger when they were initially published.
I better get cracking on these, 'cos the Byatt and the Mantel are massive tomes.
