Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

hello, i have been working full time & paying taxes since 2002. in July to Dec 2007(6 mths total) i took time off & didn't work. and from Jan-July 2008, i didn't some locum work, from August 08 till now i'm back in full-time employment again and paying tax through PAYE.
During the period of my locum work, i think i earn about three to five thousand the most. i declared myself as self-employed to the tax office over the phone (when i was enquiring something else they ask my status).
the dateline for self-declaring for tax year 2008 is closing end Oct 09. I have a look at the form and the were many pages,i really don't know where/how to start as i've never done this before, nor my friends. It looks rather complicated.
Just to confirm again-what form is it to declare tax?
am wondering, what will happen if i don't declare? how likely will the tax office find out? what will happen if they do?
anyone with similar experience? -didn't declare tax? did they find out & chase after you? how much is penalty charges?
    thanks for sharing!

    I'm locking this nonsense.

The Form 11 is the correct form for self employed persons. The Form 12 is for PAYE employees with some self employment income. If it is too complicated get someone to help you that has some experience in this area.

Do not look for tips on fraud here.
