looking to buy a table saw I am leaning towards a makita or dewalt portable {most famillar with these} but I have seen a Jet model for half the price {shop type} but does anyone know how these compare to each other in power and quality

There have been a number of discussions here in the last couple of months about table saws, I would recommend having a search through the forum and seeing what you can find.

Have a dewalt, and it's brilliant. No problems with it and worth every penny
