    Tis a great ad yeah.
The opening cinematic to the game is brilliant too.
Great animation+lots of things in this vid for fans to spot.
Gets a bit too surreal at the end with the elephant and all though....

Also, thanks nlgbbbblth for clearing that up ;)

    I ended up getting both

    Stereo set
    - comes in a nice box
    - has a bonus DVD with the documentaries on it. Far nicer watching them on DVD than crappy Quicktime on the computer
    - is cheaper than buying them individually

If you're going to buy them one by one you might nice as well get the box

    No recession on here! ;)

My wife paid for both sets from her imminent redundancy payout.

I couldn't afford to pay for them.

just listening to sgt peppers and the white album in mono, they sound amazing and i'm only using ****ty laptop speakers. you can tell the difference straight away with differnent takes used at times, different emphasis in the mix on differnent instruments and the singing is even more impressive.

cant wait to listen on a good set of speakers/headphones...

Its actually cheaper to buy them separately . However, i debated would i buy the box set or just separately and bought the boxset. Im glad I did. There isnt really anything extra, as stated , the DVD is extra but you'll probably only watch that once anyway. If your a big fan you'll have the Anthology DVD's which are brilliant and cover everything. As the CD covers themselves are paper, they will get bent and frayed etc if on their own. The box wraps everything up neatly and will keep them good as new. Its a nice little package

    local HMV
    Box 230

    Individually
    12 albums at 16 euro = 192
2 albums at 25 euro = 50 [White Album and Past Masters]
    Total 242

To be fair, some of the albums are 13.99 in xtravision, 14.99 in tesco, and the white album is 21.99 in tesco, so you could buy them all for less than the price of the boxset

Depends where you buy them. On play.com, no charge for delivery

    12 albums at 12.99 euro = 155.88
    2 albums at 19.49 euro = 38.98
    Total 194.86

They sell the stereo boxset for 220.99

    It pays to shop around

Indeed - I buy almost all my LPs, CDs and DVDs on the internet.
Play's STG / EUR exchange rate is unfavourable but even with that, those prices are good. The downside is 14 separate packages through the letter box.

True. Im glad i bought the boxset. Keeps them all clean and in good shape. As they are paper/cardboard they would get wrecked out in the big bad world on their own
