Getting to Waterford early in the day

    Hello everybody, I've just started a new job which requires me to work in Waterford now and again. I was told this during the interview and thought nothing more of it as I assumed there would be a way to get down to Waterford before nine. I know it was silly of me to think for a second that the public transport system in this country could be some way effective and I now know why unemployment is so high: because nobody can commute anywhere. Anyway back to the point does anyone know of maybe a private coach company that goes from Kilkenny to Waterford early enough in the morning? I need to be at work for 9.30.

    Hi Jerseyeire, I'm not totally sure about this but I imagine there must be a bus from Kilkenny to Waterford for students at WIT, it might be worth lookng into.

    Some info I found in this thread, time seems very early for you though :/

    Yeah, Brendan Dunne runs that bus to WIT every morning, picks up at John's church, the parade, loughboy and so on.

    It's usually packed, but if you're getting it from the city you'll get a seat no hassle.

    Just checked there and there is a guy on liftshare.com doing that route. You can register for free and send him and e mail. Let me know if this works out as im thinking of using this website myself!
