Descending into Music Unknown!

Alright, I made this thread because as far as new music is concerned, I can be a lazy bollocks when it comes to discovering anything new. That's why I'm gonna see what people can come up with here that they think I should give a listen. Any particular bands/albums/songs/etc are welcome, and I'd encourage the use of YouTube links!

Check my sig for my Last.fm and see what I listen to and maybe you could suggest something based on that. For the record, I dislike harsh vocals so I'd like to steer clear of those if at all possible. >.<

You have a few Megadeth and anthrax tunes there - Id suggest Kreator if you havent tried these already. Coma of Souls and Extreme Agression are their two best albums IMO.

I'm a bit iffy on the Kreator but I'll try and get into it a bit more.

I already love Epica so I know exactly what to expect, can't wait for their new album this year! And In this Moment are fairly good! Wasn't expecting a Blondie cover at all!

I'm liking these guys. Reading about them now and apparently they toured with Dragonland before, one of my favourite bands.

IMO their first album is much better (beautiful tragedy) but its more harsh vocals, depends what youre into i suppose!

When posting youtube videos on boards, you are not embedding them in the above fashion. All you need is the code part of the url placed between the tags.

So lets say your video is this: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ME2-gntRcAQ

Well, the code is everything after the ?v= part, which in this case is ME2-gntRcAQ

So you want to get that code, and you want to put it between youtube tags like so: [youtube]ME2-gntRcAQ[/youtube]

That becomes the video:
