Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Has anyone ever used the site easyselluk to sell or buy a car? I'm currently selling a car and I had a phone call from them saying they had a client interested in it, all I had to do was pay 130 sterling and they give all my details to their clients.

Not everybody is aware of these scams so if you're going to be a smartass at least give the op some info.

OP basically these guys will take your hard earned and you'll never hear from them again. Steer clear it's a scam

    Thanks guys,

I checked out their website but looks like a scam alright. They told me they select a car based on their clients requirements and they only ring people who's cars match their needs! I told them I had no details on me and he said he'd ring me back in the morning if he had not got another car by then! Chances are he'l be on the blower first thing!

Sorry for the lack of info Onkle. I presumed the OP posted on this site because he was suspicious of their generous offer. I posted the idiom as I have a tendancy to ramble on in posts.

Definate scam. Cars are generally cheaper and more plentiful in the UK than here so why would a UK buyer want to pay more for the car over here unless it is something rare or exotic?

Hey guys before you start I am a fairly well edumacated guy. I checked the company out on www.solocheck.ie to see if they are a registered company. They are. I asked could I telephone them back and they gave me their number and website and everything. After I paid the money I got a call from www.cbg.ie and told the guy what had happened and he said it sounded like a scam. Unreal. I called my credit card company....useless. AIB credit card. I called my local branch....AIB very HELPFUL. I went to the guards and they were very helpful but I think they can't do much about it. I am visiting my local TD tomorrow. I am so annoyed at myself!!!!!!! Please read the charter and don't resurrect old threads - there's a scam thread stickied at the top of the page.
