Tramore Gardai are seeking the public's assistance in locating a 19 year old who hasn't been seen since the Electric Picnic.

Niall Cummins from Tramore was last seen at Car Park D at 12 in the afternoon on Monday after the festival finished.

He's 5 foot 8 to 5 foot 9 with shoulder length dark hair and is described by friends as looking like Stone Roses singer Ian Brown

He was wearing jeans, a hoody with blue and white stripes on the sleeve and wellies.

It's known he was with a large group of friends from the Waterford area at the festival and anyone who may know of his whereabouts is asked to contact Tramore Gardai on 051 381333

There is a rumour going around which was stated to me as fact by a friend of the family - but having spoke with some other people, I believe it's best to leave it as just a rumour until the family come forward and speak. Please disregard my previous post.

Good to hear he's safe and well. Now I've to slap some folk upside the head for spreading some nasty rumours as fact..

Well in fairness, I can realistically imagine any number of his relatives saying something along the lines of "He's ****ing dead [when we get a hold of him]"

Think we are done here now.

    All ends well.

Hate to be the source close to the family now - must feel like a right idiot.
