Creative ZenV Plus firmware problem

The screen shows a warning message "firmware problem" and is frozen. I pushed the reset button but every time it starts to turn back on it keeps coming to that message and just hangs. I bought it 2/3 years ago and don't know what version of firmware it has. Any ideas what can be done ?

Download the latest version of the firmware from the Creative.ie site?
