I cannae beat it captain, it got twice your score. 6. Last time I am doing this I am woeful at it, no rewards only frustration. 5 players to line out tomorrow inc captain.

Am I correct in saying that if your score is not good enough they dump you out of it after group games? That'd be a blessing at this point. I'm like the Liverpool of FF.

Bit of a disaster. Think I got 5 pts. I used my wildcard and sold Buffon for Van Der Sar and also got rid of Cheyrou who would have earned me a lot more.

I gambled and it backfired spectacularly.

Got 20 points from 5 players, so happy enough given that O'Shea didn't play and Akinfeev still managed to get 4 points even though he conceded 3 goals. Was considering taking Gourcuff out but I'm definitely glad I left him in now.

Think I'll have to play my wildcard next week and sort out my fairly pathetic bench!

Really annoyed now.
I have Fab and Van P on my team but they get taken off.
Fab wouldve got his hat-trick and Van P would def have scored with a fabregas assist

57 points, mainly from Fabregas as captain, only Pique, Navas and Fabiano contributed besides Cesc. Left Dzeko on the bench and had transferred out Gourcuff and Diaby. Would have been an absolute disaster without Cesc.

Kicking myself, I made 3 transfers giving myself a -4 deficit before the GW begins, only to realise that I still have my wildcard (bearing in mind that you have unlimited transfers at the start of the next round anyway, then 6 every further round). So then I activated it and made one or two more.

Arshavin didn't travel, it's our youth squad that went over.

Had Ronaldo and Dzeko (C), also the Wolfsburg defender who got the assist.

Hulk is sitting on the bench though and unless Navas doesn't play tomo he won't be coming in...

Damn, I didn't think he'd play. I've only Grosso on the bench and he got zilch tonight thanks to Bayern.

I have 20 points tonight largely down to Drogba as captain but I took a 4 point hit so all things considered I'm in for a bleak week.

At the risk of being left with egg on my face it appears I have won the Boards Champions League game with Life is Messi. I went into this gameweek in fourth place, trailing about 10 pts or so, but I had an epic score of 68 thanks largely to Milito as captain and I appear to have won by 5 pts.

I also won the Boards Europa League FF version but I didn't bother mentioning that since most people gave up and there was less than 10 in the end. :pac:

Still, a nice European double for me heading into the World Cup version. :cool:

I went with Sneijder instead of Milito as captain which proved to be my downfall. Second in this and in my private EPL Fantasy Football league. Reckon I'll have to do one for the World Cup now!:D
