Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

joke all you want, there is plenty of Utd fans who've been proclaiming him as the best around for the last couple of seasons already!

    Nice.

I put away the Mac and got the wife's PC to install sopcast.

Its a bit more intricate to install on a mac but it can be done, never used a mac myself so have no experience of it. This thread may help you if you need it later on the mac.

    You're probably right :o

As a goalkeeper myself, I just really appreciate good saves.

Also, poor decision by the ref there.

seriously what goes on in Scholes head?! He commits a retarded tackle not 5 mins ago, gets booked and then dives in again. just silly to be diving in so soon after already getting a yellow, had no chance of making the ball. how he doesn't get more of them i dont know.

You obviously didn't see the replay, no way was that a second yellow.

Dunno that was a yellow to me.

He was late, made contact and little control over his body goin in.

Should have stayed on his feet.

    i agree with Al.

never understood how Scholes dirty streak & indiscipline has always been laughed off by commentators & fans alike?!

my point isn't the foul, its the going to ground when he's already fresh in the mind of the ref. would he not just give it 10mins before he throws himself in again?

He was pulling out, his momentum brought him into the player, not a lot he could do about that!! Hardly a yellow.

  • Registered Users, Registered Users 2 Posts: 15,951 ✭✭✭✭Villain

Ah it was yellow alright, wreckless tackle, he tried to pull out but was too late and tbh his first could have been a straight red.

Rooney was clearly onside though just after and despite save I think Berba could have got it after the save

Cudicini was wasted at Chelsea all those years...

    Great save there.

Doesn't matter. Just because he realised he was gonna be late doesn't stop the fact he was late. Late tackle and contact = yellow.

Oh and this is an excellent example of why we talk about stupid yellow cards :)

Cudicini must have been watching that skysports ad. Rooney always goes for near post in that position.
