Registering non steam games on steam?

Just a random thought here... Is there a list of non steam games out there that allow you to activate the CD key and download via steam ala UT3? Google is turning up sweet feck all, apart from info about the (utterly useless) "add a non steam game" option. I've tried a couple more, like Fallout 3, but no joy so far...…

I tried every CD key off every game i had before ,before i resorted to checking google. I dont know if thats being thorough, or stupid
