Little Squash, just after I'd decided to keep him on after fostering for weeks.

    And Squash now:

His name is actually Sasquatch. He runs the rest of the cats. Even though he's half their size.

Squash is BEAUTIFUL!! Oh my goodness what a gorgeous boy :)

Here's Jake the day we got him, ~4 months old, tiredly snoozing on his bed (abandoned so we weren't prepared with a crate or even food & water dishes - hence the pots on the floor)

And not long after, sitting in the grass:

Here's Jake a couple days ago, 6.5 months old:

My rescue cat was about 5 months when I got him from DSPCA. He was 1.9 kgs. Now, 10 months later ( he was born in July-ish) he is 5.5 kgs! Vet tells me he hasn't stopped growing yet and is a healthy weight for a cat of his frame. He's adorable and sooo long with a really long tail but perfectly proportioned !He's similar in markings to the very cute ginger/white cat Tilly at the top of the page.

Heh april99, he'll be fully grown at two years. Usually in the first 12 months they reach their maximum size, but in the second year they then fill out, putting meat on that frame. If he's 5.5 kgs at 10 months he may well hit 7-8kgs by the time he's full grown!

Got the eldest dog at 6 weeks. She was rescue lab/collie cross puppy and was such a small thing. She's now nearly 11 and has evolved from a small puppy that could curl up on your knee into a dog very slightly smaller than a labrador who thinks she can still curl up on your knee. Haven't noticed so much change in the other two (Jack Russell crosses) as they arrived with us when they were 2 years old and 1 year old respectively.

    Baby Steve

The lovely little lady (turned out to be a girl gecko) she turned into

    camera6387.jpg

She's three years old now, I got her just over a week before Steve Irwin died (she's not named after him though (but my boa Crikey is), she's named after a wraith from Stargate Atlantis)

Hells bells, yes. She has all of our internal door ways manky [and the first couple of steps leading up], as you can see from one of the pics. She'll rub her gums into anything :)

    Love her to bits, though.

She's of the Landseer variety but very distinctive markings. Love her to bits and I don't like dogs.
