Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

After 3 years using DSLR, I have finally reached the point where I have to clean the sensor of my 30D, but don't have a clue on how to do it.

What's the best tool to use and where is the best place to buy it (Dublin or Internet).

Think there has been threads on this before, Eclipse fluid and Sensor Swabs is what I use

Anywhere do this at a reasonable price?

Don't trust myself and a kit from ebay!

you've missed free cleaning in the Croke Park on Tuesday.

I have Dust Wand and found it quite simple. And Italian blow-job master.

Croke Park was €27 each or €23 each for two

It was not free? Doh! Well, I was too busy to get there. And I miss that a lot.

I use a lenspen "sensorklear" and a blower, the kit was quite cheap and I found it very easy to use. If you decide to do it yourself, do it gently - don't rub hard and make sure your battery is fully loaded.

Where do you order them from Ghost Train? I've been putting this off for a while but really need to clean my sensor.

    Ebay.

    Specifically I use surreyphotography (sic).

100 pecpads and 1 bottle will last me for around 10 years I think (low estimate) and costs 23 euro.

If a stupid (and cheap :D) law student can do it, I'm sure any photographer can clean their own camera ;)

I bought a basic kit from http://www.copperhillimages.com. If you follow their tutorials and approach it with a healthy dose of paranoia, you'll be fine! :)

Bought on Ebay as well. Was a while ago so not sure of the details, seem to have about 8 of the swabs left so must have bought a 12 pack or something
