i think with Butt on we can actually play the ball about midfield and hold on to it .. rather then hoofing it up

Bit pointless really if it's that formation. Surely Hughton knows that Ranger is working his socks off and running himself into the ground up there by himself. He needs support up there. I thought Lovenkrands would have provided that support but it doesn't seem that way.
Glad to see Butt on. He'll tidy up in front of the back 4.

One goal is all we need to shatter Cardiff's chances of an equaliser. Vital that we don't concede though.
We need to apply more pressure.

another 3 points well earned, hard match to watch for us but job done. Taking into consideration our fixtures so far we have done incredibly well. 1 goal conceded too a truly unexpected bonus. Best defense in England ;-)

Delighted with the result was a very tough game but they held off well. Need Ameobi back tbh Ranger can't play on his own.
