Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Photographing in a public place that's closed for an event?

What's the story with this? I'm going to coldplay tomorrow in the phoenix park. It's a public place, but it's closed for an event... and the tickets say "no cameras".

Does the public place rule apply, or does the event management companies rules override this?

event management rules apply .... however - if you get too close to the stage with a decent sized camera you may get it taken from you.

I know at a previous gig I was made hand over the battery to my camera so i couldn't use it. I had a spare so I was ok, but I was due to collect my confiscated battery after the show, and when I went and asked.... "it went missing".

if this happens - make sure you get a receipt/docket from the person that takes it and also get the persons name....so you know who to look for and blame.
