Ticket prices Maynooth to Drumcondra?

    hello, anybody know the price of an adult day return from maynooth to drumcondra? according to the website it is 8E but other way round it is only 4.70? planning on living in maynooth but need to work out transport costs to dublin first.

    It's 1030 per annum for a train ticket.
    that's 5 euros and small change for a 200 days a year typical working year.
    If you're an employee you should be able to get a taxsaver ticket so you wouldn't pay tax or prsi or health levy so you could be paying only about half of that from your takehome pay.

    It's 103 for a monthly ticket, same taxsaver reductions would apply.

    It's 1190 for a combined Dublin bus/rail annual ticket.

    If your boss is reluctant to do the tax saver thing, mention that they don't have to pay employers prsi on the cost of the ticket so they save tax too - It's about 10.5% of the cost of the the ticket.

    If you're self employed i don't know if you can get some relief maybe someone else knows.

    Just remember with the annual (and i presume monthly) short hop bus and rail tickets that you can use the nitelink as well, saved myself quite a bit using these.
