Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    I think Rooney had a bit more time to compose himself there. Good pressure from Scholes though.

    I like the look of that team. Like someone else said, 4-5-1 isn't exactly exciting but it seems to work very well in these European games. And I find it tough to think of any forward I'd prefer to be the lone striker than Rooney the way he's playing at the moment. I'd like to see Nani and Valencia get plenty of the ball and show what they can do. Also nice to have the creativity of Scholes, Carrick's passing and Ando's all around legendness through the middle!

    The only thing I'd be worried about is that we'll lack a bit of bite in midfield. I hope it won't be exposed by the opposition tonight. I don't think teams would have to be of the standard of Barcelona to rip that centre three apart but Besiktas probably aren't good enough and Fletcher will be very much needed for Sunday.

    Nobody on the team makes a near post run regularly so they can just camp a player there and get rid of the crosses

    I have 2 or 3 goals in my bet tonight, at this rate it'd be lucky to see 1. Need more players on the ball through the middle. Ferguson id playing a formation to accommodate Ronaldo when Ronaldo isn't even there :rolleyes:
