Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

    hi,
i am about to start a timber frame build, i have quite a large attic
space and was wondering if i should finish the air tight detail over the 1st floor ceiling or should i bring it up into the sloping ceiling incase i convert in the future?
should i do it in the attic aswell, and use an airtight hatch to seal it for the meantime?

    cheers

refer to the "acceptable construction details" on the DOE website.

If you're considering converting the attic at all, it makes sense to bring the membrane up the roof at this stage as it will be very difficult to do this later.
