Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

Advice for a new Multi-function Printer/Copier/Scanner

    Hi there,

Girlfriend's dropped my Canon multi-function printer/copier/scanner and now I need a replacement... budget is €100-€200 max.

We would like to have Ethernet connectivity and if it's got fax function it would be a benefit, but not absolutely essential. Wireless would be nice too but not a must-have. Most of the use would be b/w prints and copies, with the odd colour thrown in. Not pushed about photo printing, I'd go to Boots for that :)

I like Canon but haven't seen much choice in PC World and Harvey Normans. We've looked at a HP C6380 for €109, which would be absolutely suitable for our needs, but I've read a few worrying threads about how problematic the HP drivers can be (hogging the PC's processor with 100% load under XP and Vista), so that made me have second thoughts. (Google "hpslpsvc causing 100% cpu utilisation" if you wanna know what I mean.)

    Any suggestions, recommendations, warnings?
