Hi all! We have been experiencing an issue on site where threads have been missing the latest postings. The platform host Vanilla are working on this issue. A workaround that has been used by some is to navigate back from 1 to 10+ pages to re-sync the thread and this will then show the latest posts. Thanks, Mike.

St Ledger and Folan look to be heading to Middlesbrough. Loan moves initially with a view to making them permanent.
Middlesbrough have signed Preston's Republic of Ireland centre-back Sean St Ledger on a three-month loan, with a view to a permanent deal.

The 24-year-old is a first choice in Giovanni Trapattoni's World Cup qualifying team and could join Boro for a total package of £4.5m in January.

He joined Preston for £225,000 from Peterborough three years ago and has made 139 appearances for them.

Skysports.com understands Caleb Folan has agreed a loan move to Middlesbrough with a view to a permanent deal.

The Hull City striker has concurred on a three-month loan switch to the Riverside and will put pen-to-paper by the end of the week.

Folan started the Tigers' first four Premier League games this season but has fallen down Phil Brown's pecking order since the arrivals of Kamil Ghilas, Jozy Altidore and Jan Vennegor of Hesselink.

Good signings for Southgate I reckon, although I'm a bit surprised a Premiership club haven't taken a punt on St Ledger. I've been very impressed with him in the international games.
